Star Wars x Coca-Cola
The Background
Disney and Coca-Cola spotted the perfect opportunity to unite fans from across the galaxy with their "Coca-Cola x Star Wars: Refresh Your Galaxy" collaboration. They needed a global campaign that would celebrate the uplifting power of fandom and community, bringing together Coca-Cola's magic with Star Wars' epic storytelling to connect fans across galaxies, generations, and fandoms.
The Execution
I led the UI design and digital experience for this groundbreaking AR project, partnering with Ogilvy (WPP). Over nearly a year, I worked closely with the UX team to shape an interface that brought the first-ever Star Wars hologram experience into reality.
We built a design system that merged Star Wars' iconic tech aesthetic with Coca-Cola's brand identity. My team and I created modular UI components that guided users through the entire journey—scan your Coke, record yourself, and transmit your own hologram.
The breakthrough was designing an intuitive recording interface that let anyone become a character in the Star Wars universe. We delivered holographic overlays that turned everyday moments into epic galactic experiences, making that galaxy tech real.
